ABOUT ECO SUSTAINABLES
First & Only E-Waste Company in the Maldives
Who We Are
Eco Sustainables Maldives (Pvt) Ltd. (ESMV) is the first and only dedicated islandwide e-waste ecosystem manager, connecting communities, businesses, institutions, collection infrastructure, logistics and certified recycling partners through a transparent, traceable, and digitally enabled circular-economy platform designed specifically for the Maldives.
Our Sustainability Commitment
ESMV's commitment extends beyond the collection of discarded electronics.
The company has developed a wider environmental and community value through responsible e-waste management and reinvestment in environmental initiatives identified within the Maldives.
Why It Matters
The Maldives presents a unique waste-management environment.
Its communities are distributed across numerous small islands, where land is limited and transportation between islands can be challenging. The World Bank identifies scarce surface area, high transportation costs and the vulnerability of the marine environment as important factors requiring specifically tailored waste-management solutions.
For the Maldives, responsible e-waste management is therefore not simply about disposing of unwanted electronics. It is about:
Protecting limited land
Reducing environmental risk
Keeping waste away from the marine environment
Recovering valuable resources
Building a more sustainable island future
